Silver Cowrie Shell Hoop Earrings (Groatie Buckies)

Carry a little coastal magic with you in these sterling silver Cowrie Shell Hoop Earrings, (or “Groatie Buckie” if you’re from Scotland!)

Traditionally these shells have been collected along the shoreline as tokens of luck and protection. 

Each pair is handmade from recycled sterling silver, with little cowrie shells that dangle from the silver hoops.

Whether you’re a sea lover, a shell collector, or just someone who loves jewellery with a story, these hoops are the perfect way to keep a little coastal magic close. Wear them on their own for a laid-back look, or layer them up with your favourite studs for something a bit more playful.

    Made From

    All of the jewellery I make is handmade using recycled sterling silver or 9ct gold.

    All my jewellery is handmade by me in my little workshop on the edge of Northamptonshire, UK.

    All my jewellery made from recycled silver & goId but I want you to have a little smile on your face when the postman delivers your parcel, so each piece is carefully wrapped up in recycled, acid-free tissue and packaged beautifully for you in my branded eco-friendly packaging. Meaning that all my packaging is entirely recyclable and plastic-free, so you get to have a beautiful piece of jewellery to treasure with a clear conscience!!
